A Bold Text Intro filled with keywords about Heston Blumenthal’s Grilled Pineapple and Popcorn Ice Cream Sundae recipe for Waitrose using Heston’s Salt Caramel Popcorn Ice Cream summer bbq barbecue dessert recipes.
Listen, we’re kinda behind with our posting. I hope you don’t mind if we rattle this one off quickly.
Did this as dessert after we made Heston’s Ultimate Cheeseburger recipe and Barbecue Chicken Wings with Blue Cheese Dip.
Special Equipment: None
Special Ingredients: Heston from Waitrose Salted Caramel Popcorn Ice Cream
Time: 20 minutes
Cost: £8 approx. (most of that is the price of the ice cream)
Serves: 3 – 6
Otto cooks it:
Cut a pineapple. Whisk cream and lime.
Cook the pineapple a bit. Yellow like a Chocobo.
Dip it in lime juice. Roll it in sugar. Cook it again.
Dollop on ice cream and lime cream then drizzle on sauce (we used Hawksmoor Sticky Toffee Pudding recipe leftovers).
5/5. Really tasty. A bit too much lime. You could use Häagen Dazs Dulche de Leche instead.
Same again. Light not dark Muscovado. Needs chopped pecans or toffee popcorn pieces for texture.
